Daniel Gwan-Nulla, MD
Dr. Daniel Gwan-Nulla is a Board Certified Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgeon. He is also Board Certified in General Surgery. As a thoracic & cardiovascular surgeon, he is a specialist in the surgical treatment of diseases of the chest, including the heart, lungs, esophagus and blood vessels. Dr. Gwan-Nulla has a particular interest in lung cancer as well as in the surgical care of dialysis patients because of his mother being a dialysis patient for many years. He has tremendous expertise in minimally invasive lung resection and in dialysis access surgery as well as endovascular interventions.
Dr. Gwan-Nulla attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, completed his Internship and Residency at the Milton Hershey – Penn State University Medical Center and was Chief Resident in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Gwan-Nulla resides in Haywood county with his wife, Dr. Meesha Gwan-Nulla (Internal Medicine) and their three children. He enjoys jogging, spending time with his family and doing mission work in Africa.
